rofessor Margaret MacMillan, of the University of Cambridge, argues that the Middle East could be viewed as the modern-day equivalent of this turbulent region. A nuclear arms race that would be likely to start if Iran developed a bomb "would make for a very dangerous world indeed, which could lead to a recreation of the kind of tinderbox that exploded in the Balkans 100 years ago – only this time with mushroom clouds," she writes in an essay for the Brookings Institution, a leading US think-tank.
The average American has no idea of the potential perils possibly awaiting our country in the coming months and even weeks. While the attention of our country has been busily focusing upon one of the poorest nations in the world North Korea over the past week – the world seems to have turned a blind eye toward the People’s Republic of China and the looming threat she would pose to the United States should we enter war with North Korea.
A New York Post gossip columnist reported earlier this month that she had been told that former U.S. Secretary of State Henry Kissinger said that Israel will not exist in 10 years.
In a column published by the New York Post on September 17, Cindy Adams wrote: "Reported to me, Henry Kissinger has stated — and I quote the statement word for word: 'In 10 years, there will be no more Israel.'"
The Jewish Telegraphic Agency reported on Monday that a staffer who works in Kissinger's New York office denied that her boss had made the quote.
"It's not a misquote," Tara Butzbaugh was quoted as saying about Adams' column. "He didn't say it."
Kissinger, a German-born Jew who moved with his family to the U.S. as a teenager, served as U.S. Secretary of State from 1973 to 1977 in the Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford presidential administrations. He played a key role bringing about the disengagement agreements that Israel reached with Egypt and Syria following the 1973 Yom Kippur War.
We are on a road that leads straight to the World War 3, but in order to see that and to fully understand what is at stake you have to look at the big picture and connect the dots. This video examines the history of the dollar, its relation to oil, and the real motives behind the wars of the past two decades.
The Syrian opposition is doing a fine job as directed by the CIA .
The connection between these “rebels” and the US government is uncanny. Mainstream media has downplayed the Western intervention into the Syrian conflict, referring to them as “pro-democracy campaigners” without admitting their political agendas or ties.
The same champions of former President G.W. Bush’s invasion of Iraq are cheering on the sidelines, waiting for Obama’s unconstitutional declaration of war in Syria.
Speaking for the Syrian National Council (SNC) is Bassma Kodmani, who was an attendee at the Bilderberg Meeting this year in Chantilly, Virginia. The SNC have had the closest contact to Obama’s administration and called specifically for US forces to militarily strike Syria early on in the conflict.
MOSCOW — Russia, which seems intent on positioning itself as an increasingly decisive broker in the Syrian crisis, announced on Tuesday that a flotilla of navy vessels had sailed to the Mediterranean Sea and some would dock in the Syrian port of Tartus. The naval group includes several landing craft with marines.
Between Clinton's 'prices to be paid' and Obama's new trade-war, is it any wonder the Chinese have decided to escalate their 'more-than-rhetoric' from bartering away from the USD. After ignoring the sanctions and then receiving their exemption, PressTV reports tonight that China is to invest in developing north and south Iranian oil fields (which will produce 700,000 barrels per day of crude). One of the oil fields, Azadegan, has one of the world’s largest oil deposits, with in-place oil reserves estimated at 42 billion barrels - enough to tide China over a for a while - as Iran's Oil Minister Rostam Qasemi adds after 10-15 years of negotiations the decision has finally (and coincidentally very timely) been reached as "the Chinese side has started its activities by investing USD 20 billion in the oil fields".
“They’re [US, UK] determined to spark a war which would not just be a civil war in Syria, this would become a regional war and very quickly could escalate into a Third World War because it would lead to a confrontation with both Russia and China,” Edward Spannaus, an editor of the Executive Intelligence Review, said in an interview with Press TV.
On Friday, US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton warned Russia and China about supporting Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, saying that they will pay a price.
“I do not believe that Russia and China are paying any price at all - nothing at all - for standing up on behalf of the [Syrian President Bashar] Assad regime.”
“The only way that will change is if every nation represented here directly and urgently makes it clear that Russia and China will pay a price,” Clinton warned.
Russia and China boycotted the latest "Friends of the Syrian People" meeting as one-sided.
“We have frankly laid out the reasons why we have restrained from joining the mechanism, the very name of which has a contradiction between the word and the deed,” Russia’s Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said earlier this week.
A Russian ship believed to be carrying military equipment to Syria has been halted off the coast of Scotland after its insurance holder cancelled its policy.
The MV Alaed, owned by the Russian shipping company Femco, is reportedly carrying Mi25 helicopters, known as "flying tanks" to Syria.
The ship was said to be heading to the port of Tartus, the country's main naval base.
Femco holds marine insurance with British firm The Standard Club, which said it had removed all cover from ships owned by the Russian company, effectively stranding the Alaed.
This analysis is speculative in the extreme and even "conspiratorial." But it is borne of watching the way the power elite works, which is by way of what we call a dialectic.
There is an evident and obvious power elite that wants to create world government. It creates dominant social themes that are used to frighten people and push them to give up power and wealth to globalist facilities around the world.
The power elite, in our view, controls governments, in particular Western governments. As the one-world conspiracy has advanced, the control has tightened.
“I am very uneasy with the so-called intelligence report that say we don’t know whether they are actually working on nuclear weapons,” Kissinger told CNN.
“I think we should start from the premise that they are undergoing all this in order to achieve a military capability. I don’t think that is a disputable point.”
